Meet Oxana Balke, Creator of LIZERFLY

Hey there!

I’m Oxana Balke—author, artist, adventurer, and big-time animal lover.

I’ve already published two children’s books (with a coloring book on the way!) and have a notebook full of stories just waiting to come to life with words and paint.

When I’m not writing or painting, you’ll probably find me exploring a new corner of the world, making friends, or dreaming up my next creative project.

LIZERFLY is my happy place—a brand I created from my love of art, animals, and storytelling. It’s where I bring together colorful home decor, unique accessories, and of course, books that I’ve written and illustrated.

As a kid, I was always crafting something—sewing doll clothes or turning old shoe soles into pretend phones (true story!). That imagination never left me—it just got bigger and brighter.

Today, every painting, book, and project I create is filled with a little bit of adventure, a lot of love, and tons of color.
